Elizabeth Olsen is taking on a new role!
The 28-year-old actress is set to star in a half-hour female-driven dramedy series written and created by Kit Steinkellner, which is being produced for Facebook.
Switched at Birth creator Lizzy Weiss will serve as showrunner. The series has been given a 10-episode order.
Kian Lawley has been dropped from the upcoming movie The Hate U Give following his racist remarks featured in a resurfaced video. Twentieth Century Fox will now be giving the Zac and Mia star’s role to another actor.
“Due to the controversy surrounding his past comments and behavior, Kian Lawley will no longer appear in The Hate U Give. The studio plans to recast the role of Chris and reshoot scenes as needed,” a spokesperson for the studio told Variety.
In the clip, Kian can be heard speaking the N-word and other racial slurs. “We’re all black drinking purple Kool-aid and eating Kentucky fried motherf–king chicken,".
Maia Mitchell is officially saying farewell to her hit Freeform series The Fosters.

Half a century after Ozzy Osbourne launched his career with Black Sabbath and four decades since he went out on his own, the Prince of Bloody Darkness will embark on his final world tour.
Dubbed "No More Tours 2" – a cheeky throwback to his ill-fated retirement bid called "No More Tours" in the early Nineties – Osbourne will kick off the two-year victory lap this spring with dates in Mexico, South America and Europe. The jaunt's first United States leg, which will feature Stone Sour as the opening group, starts in Allentown, Pennsylvania in August and wraps in Las Vegas in October. Tickets for the North American dates are on sale February 17th, with pre-sales beginning Valentine's Day.
