Kian Lawley has been dropped from the upcoming movie The Hate U Give following his racist remarks featured in a resurfaced video. Twentieth Century Fox will now be giving the Zac and Mia star’s role to another actor. “Due to the controversy surrounding his past comments and behavior, Kian Lawley will no longer appear in The Hate U Give. The studio plans to recast the role of Chris and reshoot scenes as needed,” a spokesperson for the studio told Variety. In the clip, Kian can be heard speaking the N-word and other racial slurs. “We’re all black drinking purple Kool-aid and eating Kentucky fried motherf–king chicken,".

Alyson Stoner often releases dance videos to popular songs on her channel, but this week she decided to shake things up with special guests and a hilarious mock movie. In a new Youtube video entitled “If Life Were a Dance Movie,” the dancer and singer reunites with some former Step Up co-stars and other famous dancers to joke about the formulaic nature of dance movies. “They meet. They fall in love and know the same dance. Conflict. Unnecessary dance battle. The villain returns. The final battle. Inconsequential victory.” Watch the full video below. The 20-year-old YouTuber originally shared a vlog on Saturday (August 19) where he was questioned by Logan about the assault allegations. In the video, Logan and Jake, as well as his assistant Meg, who was allegedly assaulted by FaZe, talk about the incident and FaZe‘s response video. Later in the day, Jake removed the video and replaced it with footage explaining that he felt sharing another response video was not the correct way to handle the situation. Watch Logan's video talking about the assault below. |
