Teen starlet Rebecca Bloom discusses the hit Amazon Prime series Sigmund and the Sea Monsters12/7/2017 Teen starlet Rebecca Bloom discusses her hit Amazon Prime series Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and voicing Marcie in The Peanuts Movie. Also Rebecca talks about working with her co-star David Arquette. You provided the voice of Marcie in "The Peanuts Movie" which, must have been a fun experience. Can you tell what it was like recording the voice of Marcie? Recording the voice of Marcie was really an amazing experience. I got to explore different ways of expressing myself and bring my own personal quality to this wonderful character. Peanuts characters have been around for years and I felt honored to be a part of a great tradition. Working with everyone from Bluesky Studios and the Schulz family was really cool. I'm lucky to have had the opportunity. Congratulations on the Amazon show "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" in the series for kids you play the character, Robyn. Can you describe your character to us? Robyn is Johnny's and Scotty's cousin and she is smart, ambitious, hard working and loves to read. She is determined to achieve greatness in her life. She just doesn't know yet exactly what she'll be great at. Robyn loves her cousins and is always up for adventure, but she's usually the voice of reason. She also loves Sigmund and loves being his friend. You did some ADR (Automated dialogue replacement) work on the feature films "The Edge of Seventeen", and Ouija: Origin of Evil. What's the recording process like when you do ADR work on a major feature film? It was a wonderful experience to work on both of these films. It's definitely hard work because you need match your voice to the original scene. And sometimes you are only making sounds. But, it's really fun work too. I can't wait to do more! In "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" Solomon Stewart plays the lead role Johnny, and you two have a great chemistry on-set. Can you tell us what it's like working on-set with Johnny? Working with Solomon was really fun. Over time we became like family so it was easy to have great chemistry on camera. On set we had an amazing time. We like a lot of the same music and you tube channels. He is a great actor and working with him was so easy. I'm sure the filming schedule of "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" keeps you pretty busy most of the time. How do you balance school with your acting reliabilities? Balancing school and filming was very easy for me because on set we have school with a tutor who talks to our teachers, from our school and keeps us on track with all of our work. Veteran actor David Arquette from many Hollywood roles including "Never Been Kissed" starring Drew Barrymore plays the role of Captain Barnabus. Do you have any interesting stories about working with David? "Never Been Kissed" is one of my favorite movies! So, getting to work with David was so cool. I don't have a story about him, but he taught me so many things like how to be fearless when filming, how to get into character, and to work hard but have fun. When your not filming, or going-on auditions I'm wondering if you can tell us what you like to do for fun? When I am not filming or auditioning I am dancing, going to karate, or hanging with my family and friends. I'm interested to hear about your future ambitions as an actress, and what you hope to archive in this business. Where do you see your self in the next 5 years in terms of acting? In 5 years I see myself starring in movies, tv shows and doing more voice overs. Watch the fantastic Sigmund and the Sea Monsters only on Amazon Prime.
