We Blab Entertainment Magazine decided to take a look at the number one box office superstar actress Jennifer Lawrence and, help remind us all how an all-American girl from Indian Hills, Kentucky became the highest paid actor in Hollywood. Jennifer Lawrence has never been scared to tackle any role and, her greatest accomplishment came in 2013 with her first Oscar win in the category of best actress for Silver Linings Playbook.

Now Cathrine Costanzo takes a look at Jennifer Lawrence's top 10 best feature film roles from Silver Linings Playbook, to Mother. When compiling this top 10 list we choose to focus on her performance and, the uniqueness of the characters related to the feature film.
10. Company Town - 'Caitlin' (2006) - A look at the lives of government agents who all live in the same Washington D.C. neighborhood.
Fun fact: this is where Jennifer’s career began. Which is why I had to include this in the top 10. To be honest I’ve never watched this TV series but thanks to this show now we get to enjoy the movies Jennifer gets a role. Therefore I’m thankful cause I’d be lying if I told you that I’ve watched the whole Hunger Games series less than 6 times.
9. Winter's Bone - 'Ree' (2010) - An unflinching Ozark Mountain girl hacks through dangerous social terrain as she hunts down her drug-dealing father while trying to keep her family intact.
Fun fact (again): not sure how many are aware of this, but its based off a book by the same title. We read the book and watched the movie in English. It was pretty faithful. Leaving out some pretty important past information between Gail and Ree. But I also must say that she played her role splendidly as in Jennifer being around 19 years old.

Megan: "What are we ever gonna do with you, baby girl?"
Ree: "Kill me I guess."
Megan: "That idea's been said already. Got any others?"
Ree: "Help me. Nobody's said that idea yet, have they?"
8. Silver Linings Playbook - 'Tiffany' (2012) - After a stint in a mental institution, former teacher Pat Solitano moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany, a mysterious girl with problems of her own.
This definitely surpassed my expectations. All I can say really is that this movie gave me warm fuzzies and happy feelings inside while I was watching it.

I’ve seen an interview about this movie with BBC Radio 1 where Jennifer says: “In the script, she (Jennifer’s character) was supposed to be an almost professional dancer.” But at the rehearsals, the producers said: “well that won’t work.” Which I found really funny. Because if you’ve seen this movie you see Jennifer dancing but in the interview, she also says “That’s me trying my hardest. It’s the best I can.” This is why I love her. She doesn’t care about what others think about her. She has no shame of herself and doesn’t even care if people think she sucks or not.
7. Mother - 'Mother' (2017) - A couple's relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.
When I first saw this movie I immediately fell in love with it, like I usually do whenever Jennifer is in it. This movie is a psychological horror which I really love. It’s so uncertain within the first few minutes but it has many unexpected moments, which catches your attention really quickly.
6. American Hustle - 'Rosalyn Rosenfeld' (2013) - A con man, Irving Rosenfeld, along with his seductive partner Sydney Prosser, is forced to work for a wild F.B.I. Agent, Richie DiMaso, who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and the Mafia.
David O Russell, who directed this movie, gives us great stories that are as much about the plot as they are about the characters.  Usually, movies fall short in one of those two categories but Russell always gives us both. It’s a little hard following the story at first but still, I was mesmerized!
5. The Hunger Games - 'Katniss Everdeen' (2012) - Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death.
What I liked best about the Hunger Games movie was its relationship with the book. When something happens in the book, you only get Katniss' thoughts about it, but since the movie can't do that, it goes about it from the opposite direction and gives you an explanation for it. It's a really interesting relationship and is much more intricate and intriguing than most book-movie relationships that I've seen. This is the first movie I got obsessed with where Jennifer plays the main role.
4. Passengers  - 'Aurora Lane' (2016) - A spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.
Many call this an "adult" science fiction story.  Which I agree because I was amazed at how emotional this story could get. The story fits together logically and the conflict in the middle was handled intelligently. This was the kind of story about futuristic space travel I've been wanting to see for a long time.
3. Joy (2015) - 'Joy' - Joy is the story of the title character, who rose to become founder and matriarch of a powerful family business dynasty.
I must admit if anything, Joy has the simplest and most relatable story than any of her other movies. We also don’t have to forget that Jennifer is only 27. Most actresses her age are still being enlisted to play teenagers, but the director has managed to successfully sell her as a mother and a widow completely convincingly.
2. Serena (2014) - 'Serena Pemberton' - In Depression-era North Carolina, the future of George Pemberton's timber empire becomes complicated when he marries Serena.
To be honest, at first, I was kind of scared about watching this movie. Jennifer and Bradley (which play the main characters in this movie) have played many other movies together in a movie together before but, after watching it I'm so in love with them acting together as a couple. The characters were so spot on, so perfectly executed. I know this movie wasn't very successful, but again I love it. I would say that Serena is one of Jennifer's most complicated roles yet.
1. Red Sparrow (2018) - 'Dominika Egorova' - Dominika Egorova is recruited to 'Sparrow School,' a Russian intelligence service where she is forced to use her body as a weapon. Her first mission, targeting a C.I.A. agent, threatens to unravel the security of both nations.
Lawrence impressed the hell out of me in Red Sparrow. It’s her first truly adult performance in my opinion. I hope she doesn't listen to all the reviews that have accused the movie of being unnecessarily exploitative - the movie is nasty and hard-hitting but, it knows what it's doing. In this movie, Jennifer also speaks with a Russian accent which, is amazing. She keeps on trying new things and, keeps on blowing my mind with her great acting skills.

In different interviews (with Ellen Degeneres and Absolute Radio) Jennifer also explains that she always has an honest opinion, which is why I love her, but also she said that she really liked this movie. Even before she even got cast for it. There’s a part where she gets naked (spoiler alert? Even tho she said it in the interview with Ellen) but, she has never gotten comfortable getting naked for a movie which, is also why she never has in any movie before. Yet because she enjoyed the script and, the character so much she agreed on getting naked just for his movie.
